Brittani Rasmussen is a young aspiring artist right here in Provo Utah. She works as an optician at our Orem Wal-Mart while studying Graphic Design at Utah Valley University. Born in Herriman Utah Brittani has always had a love for art which was instilled at a young age bay her mother who also has vast artistic talent. This is a simple pencil sketch that Brittani drew as an assignment in one of her classes while mastering the ability to draw the human head. As simple as it is this sketch evokes deep emotion in the viewer. The weathered wrinkles in the man’s face show a life time of hard work and struggle. His sad eyes reflect the many sorrows that they have seen. Strength emanates from this simple working man.
